The challenge

Atelier 21 is a fine-jewelry and watch house that launches across twelve regional markets. Jewelry is punishing to photograph: rings and watches need hand models, macro lighting and a stylist, and every market wants imagery that reflects its own customers.

Booking hand and wrist models for each launch, in each region, was slow and expensive — and licensing those images carried ongoing model releases.

02

The approach

Atelier 21 moved launch imagery to Piktor:

  • Start from a single studio packshot of each piece.
  • Generate on-wrist and on-model imagery across a range of models, skin tones and settings.
  • Localize each campaign for its market — twelve versions from one photograph.
  • Own every image outright: no model releases, no licensing, no royalties.
03

The quantified result

The approach shipped across all twelve markets on the same launch day.

  • +31% add-to-cart on products with on-model imagery versus packshots alone.
  • −88% cost per on-model image against hand-model shoots.
  • 12 localized campaigns produced from a single packshot.
  • Under 15 seconds to generate each on-wrist image.
Jewelry never photographed easily. Now one packshot becomes a wrist shot for every market we sell in — and we own all of it.

The outcome

On-model imagery is now Atelier 21's default for every launch — and every market gets its own campaign on day one.
