Changelog

What's new.

New categories, sharper renders and the fixes in between. Here's what we've shipped to Piktor this year.

  1. Newv2.6

Watches & jewelry, on the model

A new category tuned for reflective metal, gemstones and glass. Put a watch on a wrist or a necklace on a neckline — with true reflections and accurate scale.

Live now under Categories → Watches & Jewelry.

  2. Newv2.5

    Shoes, with wipe transitions

Footwear renders now ship with clean wipe transitions between angles, so a single pair turns into a short, scrollable sequence for product pages and ads.

Toggle it per render in the export panel.

  3. Improvedv2.4

    More angle & location variants

Generate the same look from more camera angles and in more locations in a single pass — studio, street, interior — without re-uploading or re-describing the product.

  4. Fixedv2.3

    Jewelry occlusion on hands

Rings and bracelets no longer bleed through fingers on close crops. Fine detail around joints and edges now holds up at full zoom.

  5. Improvedv2.2

    4K export with clean masks

Every render now exports at up to 4K with a pixel-accurate alpha mask — ready to composite or drop straight onto a product page, no manual cut-outs.

4K is included on Studio and above.

  6. Newv2.1

    Cost calculator on pricing

Slide your catalog size and shots per SKU to see, in real time, what a shoot would cost versus Piktor — and which plan fits before you sign up.

Try it on the Pricing page.

  7. Improvedv2.0

    Faster render queue

Queue times are down across the board — most single images now come back in under 15 seconds, even during peak hours.

  8. Fixedv1.9

PNG edge halos on light backgrounds

Fixed a faint light halo that could appear around transparent PNG cut-outs when they were placed on white or very light product pages.
